From Gross to Gothy (Upcycled music box edition)

Originally posted by squidcoma at From Gross to Gothy (Upcycled music box edition)
So I have made quite a few upcycled trinket boxes from thrift shops and the reuse centre (Which I fully intend to do an entire post about, so you guys know what it is and how handy it is to have one of these locally!) I usually end up loving the way that they look so much that I don't sell them which I should be doing, and I end up with oodles of upcycled boxes but they end up being too pretty to get rid of sometimes.
Here are a few examples of previous projects that I've finished up.

Hello there my dear crafty goths! It's been forever since I've posted, but I have some new fused dichroic glass pendants to share!

Well hello there my lovely crafty ladies! It's been awhile since I've posted my fused dichroic glass pendants, so I have a few to share. The first one is a customized space pendant set into silver that I made for one of our own dear members. Also, for those of you who have been asking about the space shoes, I promise I haven't forgotten!

Dear Bitsy - Shop

Hello!  Please take a look at my etsy shop, Dear Bitsy.  I crochet disturbingly adorable and adorably disturbing animals, including a human skull! The skulls are normally done on a custom order basis, so please send me a message on etsy if you are interested!

Antique finish question

Hey, all---

A lot of the metal in the jewelry that I pick up, as well as the stuff I make, has an antique finish to it. I love the way it looks but it seems to always end up marking my skin. Is there any kind of treatment that I could do to it to keep that from happening, or is it just something I'll have to deal with? I know for rings you can always just put a little clear nail polish on it, but that doesn't really seem viable for things like necklaces. Does anybody know anything that might help? Thanks either way!
