So I have made quite a few upcycled trinket boxes from thrift shops and the reuse centre (Which I fully intend to do an entire post about, so you guys know what it is and how handy it is to have one of these locally!) I usually end up loving the way that they look so much that I don't sell them which I should be doing, and I end up with oodles of upcycled boxes but they end up being too pretty to get rid of sometimes. Here are a few examples of previous projects that I've finished up.
this is a very long massive post!!!! i am busy unpacking my last boxes and trying to find place for everything, but sadly my new house is much much smaller than my old one. and all these pretty clothes need to go to a new home.. mostly gothy & alternative style and little bit old cyber stuff.
Hello there my dear crafty goths! It's been forever since I've posted, but I have some new fused dichroic glass pendants to share!
Well hello there my lovely crafty ladies! It's been awhile since I've posted my fused dichroic glass pendants, so I have a few to share. The first one is a customized space pendant set into silver that I made for one of our own dear members. Also, for those of you who have been asking about the space shoes, I promise I haven't forgotten!
Hello! Please take a look at my etsy shop, Dear Bitsy. I crochet disturbingly adorable and adorably disturbing animals, including a human skull! The skulls are normally done on a custom order basis, so please send me a message on etsy if you are interested! Thanks!! http://www.etsy.com/shop/dearbitsy?ref=si_shop
A lot of the metal in the jewelry that I pick up, as well as the stuff I make, has an antique finish to it. I love the way it looks but it seems to always end up marking my skin. Is there any kind of treatment that I could do to it to keep that from happening, or is it just something I'll have to deal with? I know for rings you can always just put a little clear nail polish on it, but that doesn't really seem viable for things like necklaces. Does anybody know anything that might help? Thanks either way!
